In agreement with the municipal administration of Ovada, the Calappilia association has created for the new year a series of educational workshops for children, dedicated to palaeontology and natural sciences, included in the initiative Learn to the museum.
Saturday 21st April 2018, at 4.30 pm there will be a workshop for children (6 – 11 years) “Fire stones. Lava, sulfur & co” curated by Marco Gaglione, the laboratory offers new ideas to unveil the mysteries of the hot heart of the volcanoes, crossing the burning clouds that emanate from them and then descending, in the bowels of the Earth, in search of the place where the rock of tomorrow is born. The wonder of discovery awaits the participants who will face the pitfalls of a place that mixes destruction and creation together.
As usual, the workshop lasts about an hour and has a cost of 5.00 euros per child, participation is allowed only with reservations to be made by calling the number 3477520743 (Alberto) after 5,00 pm.
The meeting is always at 4.15 pm at the museum, with the start of activities at 4.30 pm.

We hope many of you will come!

The next workshop will take place on May 12th.
